It wont work. First thing you have to do is turn TV on. Works every time now. This program removes all traces of previous drivers, which is where the minor glitches usually reside. It gives you a fresh start, like a fresh re-install of Windows, if you like.
I have tried everything suggested above and no luck! Any more suggestions. Just to let every know I have been having the same problem when connected laptop to TV. The only thing that has worked is Device Manager, right click Intel etc and put disable, then enable. It is so silly but at least it works.
Another tip. A solution is to turn TV off from mains and turn laptop off. Just to reply to my previous comment above I have found a successful working solution to this problem. The problem was in trying to update to the latest Intel graphics driver. The fix was to go to my laptops model number drivers repository for example A54C and install the driver from there.
